Locum ENT Physician Opportunity in Clive, IA
Overview of the OpportunityWe are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Ent locum tenens physician to provide coverage at our facility in Clive, IA. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training and be licensed to practice medicine in Iowa.
Details of the OpportunityThe covering physician will work on a part-time basis, with one week per month of coverage needed. The schedule will include clinic hours from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., as well as some on-call shifts with weekend coverage during the week of ENT coverage. Inpatient responsibilities will also be included, along with patient care duties in both clinic and procedure areas. The physician will be supported by a team of five physicians, one advanced practice provider, and various ancillary staff members, including nurses and administrative personnel.
Clinical ResponsibilitiesThe covering physician will perform comprehensive ENT procedures for adults and pediatric patients, with an average clinic volume of 24 patients per day and appointment lengths of 10 minutes each. The patient demographic includes adults and children. The facility uses Allscripts and Cerner EMR systems.
