Job Overview:
WhiteCoat Locums is seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to provide locums coverage at a facility in Cambridge, OH. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Shift Details:
The shift schedule includes 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physician). Daily census averages 31.6 patients, with an average of 5-6 admissions per night. EMR System: MediTech. ICU Beds: 12.
Specialty Coverage:
Pulmonology (Mon-Fri, with evening and weekend call availability), Surgery, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Interventional Radiology (para, thoracentesis, bone marrow, ports), PICC Line Nurse available.
Procedures:
Required: Intubation (assistance available from RT, who are being trained to intubate all patients), Central Line Insertions (frequent), Vent Management. Preferred: Chest Tubes, Lumbar Puncture.
Requirements:
Board Certification (ABMS/AOA IM/FM) REQUIRED (Double boarded ABPS accepted), Ohio License REQUIRED, not accepting IMLC, 2 Years Recent Experience REQUIRED, Procedural Logs (within the past 12 months) reflecting Central Lines, Intubations, & Vents REQUIRED, COVID Vaccination REQUIRED.
