Key Responsibilities:
- Invasive ventilation management (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy)
- Central line insertion
- Arterial line insertion
- ICP evaluation and management
- Management of acute volume/BP issues
Credentials Required:
- Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine (REQUIRED)
- Active New Jersey medical license (REQUIRED)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
About the Role:
The facility is seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care Physician to provide locum tenens coverage due to understaffing.
Schedule & Coverage Details:
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Patient Volume:
- Average ICU patients per day: 9
- Average admissions per day: 3
Unit Details:
- 26 ICU beds shared with the trauma team (no cap)
- Trauma Level II designation
Team Composition:
- 7 critical care physicians
- Additional APPs available
Credentialing Information:
- Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
