Facility in Altoona, PA seeking Cardiothoracic Surgery locums coverage Rates : $4000 / day Position Details :
- Specialty : Cardiothoracic Surgery

- Schedule : Part-time; typically 2 long weekends per month (Thursday-Monday) with additional coverage during holidays and PTO.
- Shift Requirements : Provider will cover from Thursday 7am to Monday 7am (consecutive days).
- Call Requirements : Minimal calls on inpatients and admissions, rare urgent surgeries needed overnight. Must be within 30-minute response time (hotel stay provided nearby).
- On Call : Yes, 24-hour call with in-house rounding and surgical cases.
- Rounding : Includes inpatients, cases, and clinic duties (clinic and TAVR on Wednesdays).
- Average Admissions While On Call : 2
- EMR : EPIC & Cerner
