Facility in Detroit, MI seeking Neurosurgery APP locums coverage Rates : $140 / hr Facility in Detroit, MI, seeks a qualified APP (NP / PA) to provide in-house neuroendovascular surgery coverage from November 10 to February 10 while recruiting for a permanent role. Responsibilities :
- Provide inpatient, hospital-based care, including rounding, consults, and postoperative management
- No OR / First Assist or procedural work required
- Basic understanding of :
- Acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies
- ICU care
- Elective neurosurgical procedures
- Postoperative management
- Schedule : 240 hours over a 6-week period, including weekend shifts every 4th week (6 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- Expected Patient Load : 10 patients per shift (ages 0 99)
- EMR : eCare / Cerner
- Supervision : Autonomous work with off-site supervising physician available 24 / 7
