Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Outdoor Guide to lead and educate participants in various outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, cycling, E-biking, driving tours, kayaking, paddle boarding. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for the outdoors, strong leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups. As an Outdoor Guide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational experience for all participants.
Responsibilities
- Lead outdoor excursions, including hiking, camping, kayaking, or rock climbing, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
- Educate participants about local wildlife, local history and environmental conservation practices.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations for outdoor activities while fostering a positive group dynamic.
- Partner with management for group logistics including equipment preparation, and safety briefings.
- Communicate effectively with participants to address any questions or concerns during activities.
- Maintain a high level of customer service by being approachable and responsive to participant needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all activities.
Skills
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse groups.
- Strong public speaking skills to confidently engage and educate participants.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure smooth operation of scheduled activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal, Temporary
Pay: $19.57 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evenings as needed
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
