Description
Whitehall 6-12 is seeking a Secondary Science teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Courses taught are High School Biology, High School Earth and Space Science, High School Intro to Chem / Phys, and Middle School STEM elective.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : This list of essential duties is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
- Administer appropriate district curriculum which is aligned with the state standards.
- Ensure the opportunity for all students to learn in a supportive environment.
- Create and maintain a constructive, orderly, and academically focused instructional environment.
- Analyze student progress and provide appropriate instruction.
- Provide a classroom management / discipline plan ensuring safety at all times.
- Ensure assessment guidelines and regulations are followed at all times.
- Work professionally with administrators, staff, parents, and community.
- Integrate appropriate technology as available into the instructional program.
- Participate in other job-related duties and activities as assigned.

Salary and Benefits
Annual Salary $35,936-$52,815 depending upon experience and graduate credits / degrees.
Health Insurance benefit - per month district contribution of $553-$999 depending upon insurance plan selected
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Hold a valid Montana Class 1 or 2 Teaching License with any Secondary Science Endorsement, or be able to obtain via class 5 licensure

Must be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
Salary
Annual Salary as determined by experience, college preparation, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement Salary Schedule; Salary will be prorated
