What are the responsibilities and job description for the Daycare Teacher position at Whitehouse Early Learning Center?
The Whitehouse Early Learning Center is seeking a teacher part-time who is dependable, responsible and enthusiastic, loves and has a passion to work with young children. Candidate must be outgoing, flexible, a multi-tasker, and a good communicator. She must be a team player and be First aid and CPR certified. Associate teacher credential preferred, but will considered others.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their well-being and development.
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups, including toddlers and infants.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including First Aid and CPR protocols.
- Foster positive behavior management and classroom management techniques to promote a harmonious learning atmosphere.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
