Dietary Cook Position Summary
The Dietary Cook role includes the following responsibilities :
- Ensure food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. and submit to the Dietary Manager.
- Assist in establishing food service production line to assure meals are prepared on time.
- Prepare and serve meals, prepare bedtime snacks, and serve substitute meals and / or snacks as necessary.
- Assist in daily cleaning duties and ensure stock levels of staple and non-staple food, supplies, and equipment are maintained at adequate levels.
- Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager and / or VP of Nutritional Services.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.
