What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Whiteside County Health Department?
We are seeking a Maintenance Worker to join our facilities team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will work under the supervision of our Facilities Manager, assisting with maintaining the Animal Control and Rock Falls Clinic buildings and grounds so that the facilities are kept clean and in good repair.
Skills
- Must be able to speak and read English.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and communication levels with employees, administrative personnel, physicians, and the general public.
- Must have a valid driver’s license (CDL Special Consideration).
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or have obtained a GED. Previous maintenance experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.30 - $18.95 per hour
