Correctional Deputy Eligibility List
Deadline is January 3rd, 2025 at 4:00 pm
Testing January 7th, 2025 at 5:00 pm
Starting pay $24.70 per hour with benefits
Additional compensation available for Lateral Transfers
Applications must have or pass the following requirements:
Must be 21 years of age
High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
Must have at least 20/50 without glasses or corrected to 20/20
If offered the position, you must pass a background check, drug screen, physical and polygraph exam.
Education, expertise and skills will be considered in
screening the applicant for testing
Written test with credit for military service (provide DD214 form)
The top test scores will be given an oral interview.
Applications may be picked up at the Whiteside County Law Enforcement Center,
400 N. Cherry St., Morrison, Illinois or printed from the county website
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
