Whiteside Manor is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) of Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) to provide therapeutic services to individuals struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. The LCSW will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
- Offer crisis intervention and support clients in managing acute mental health issues.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, medical staff, and case managers to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate clients and families on coping strategies, relapse prevention, and available community resources.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Advocate for clients and assist in coordinating aftercare plans, referrals, and discharge planning.
- Stay up to date on best practices in behavioral health treatment and participate in ongoing training and development.
