What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard (Napa County) position at Whitestar Group, Inc.?
We are an actively growing Security and Investigations firm located in Sonoma County, CA. Born from law enforcement and refined for the private sector, Whitestar Group’s Security Division provides the highest level of service available in the industry today. We specialize in public and private sector site protection as well as innovative security solutions for more complex and high-profile accounts.
We have several new contracts in the works and will have the following openings in our Security Division:
· Security Guard (Sonoma County) – part-time and full-time
· Security Guard (Napa County) – part-time and full-time
· Security Guard (Lake County) – part-time/on-call
Candidates must have an active guard card, reliable transportation to/from all sites and be over 18 years old. Additionally, candidates MUST be able to work graveyard and swing shifts. Must have the ability to conduct foot patrols every 30 minutes and have the endurance to stay on your feet for extended periods of time. For vehicle patrol, must have a valid driver license with a clean DMV record and be over 25 years old.
If you’re new to security, we will train you!
Some of our sites include serving and/or interacting with the most vulnerable populations. Therefore, the ideal candidate is customer service-focused, has some basic medical training and understands trauma-informed care. Individuals who have worked in and among facilities that support behavior or mental health residents and clients are also great candidates. We also have very complex, active commercial sites that require adept individuals who are detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
