Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team at Whitetail Run Golf Course. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of our golf course, ensuring a clean, beautiful, and well-maintained environment. This role involves a variety of tasks related to groundskeeping, lawn care, and landscape maintenance, utilizing both power and hand tools.
Duties
- Perform regular maintenance on landscapes, including mowing, trimming, and irrigation.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks.
- Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
- Ensure proper irrigation systems are functioning efficiently.
- Assist with general repairs around the facility as required.
- Keep maintenance equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing.
- Collaborate with team members to complete larger landscaping projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation of equipment.
