Position Summary :
The primary responsibility of the Operator, Wastewater is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Supervisor and will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.
Requirements :
- Commitment to 24 / 7 Safety Culture
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater industry / wastewater operator role
- Active MA Wastewater Operator License required (Minimum Grade 3 Municipal)
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Available for after hours and on call work as required
- Valid U.S. Driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to obtain DOT medical card and pass a drug screen
