What are the responsibilities and job description for the Water Systems Operator position at WhiteWater, Inc.?
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Operator I, Water is to operate and maintain assigned facilities and to actively support the Operations Lead Operator & Supervisor. The Operator will be part of an on-call rotation requiring night and weekend coverage as needed.
Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum up to one year of experience in water industry and working knowledge of drinking water compliance and regulations.
- Must possess an active Massachusetts Water Operator License (VSS - small water systems).
- Strong communication skills and basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
- Must be available for after hours and emergency on call work as required.
- Valid US Driver's License.
