About the role
We are looking for a skilled Marine Construction Field Welder to join our team. This role involves installing, removing, and maintaining piers, boat lifts, and accessories using hand tools and machinery. You will play a key role in the construction, maintenance, and repair of marine structures, including welding steel and aluminum components. The work will take place in various weather conditions, requiring adaptability and a strong work ethic.
What you"ll do
Strong welding and fabrication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.
Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Operate heavy machinery including excavators, cranes, and loaders.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Load, unload, and distribute construction materials using heavy machinery.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist in the preparation and site setup for construction projects.
Perform precision tasks such as grading, trenching, and digging using heavy equipment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to swim; comfortable working on or near water.

Physically demanding role, heavy lifting up to 100lbs.
