Job Description
Camp Whitfield is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated staff members to join our team for the upcoming summer camp season. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience while working in a fun and engaging environment. As a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on campers, build lifelong friendships, and create lasting memories.
Positions Available & Pay Rates
- Camp Director – $35/hour
- Assistant Camp Director A.M. & P.M. (Whitfield Alum & applicants 18 years and older) – $18-$25/hour
- Instructor (MO certified educators) – $35/hour
- PE Instructor Upper Primary – $35/hour (August 4 - August 8, 1 week)
- PE Instructor Lower Primary – $35/hour (August 4 - August 8, 1 week)
- Camp Counselor (16 years and up) – $14-$16/hour
- Assistant Camp Counselor (16 years and up) – $14-$16/hour
- Volunteer - Counselor in Training (VCIT) (14-15 years) – Unpaid with a possibility for future promotion
Camp Sessions & Dates
- Session One: June 9 - June 20 (no camp on June 19)
- Session Two: June 23 - July 3 (no camp on July 4)
- Session Three: July 7 - July 18
- Session Four: July 21 - August 1
- GAME ON: Team Sports: August 4 - August 8 (1 week)
- Breakfast Club: 7:30-9:00 AM
- Munch Bunch: 3:00-6:00 PM
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment
- Experience in childcare, education, or related fields is a plus!
