Journeyman Electrician, Commercial Solar
Oahu & Maui (2 separate positions)
Company Summary :
The company was established in 2008 & is focused on on commercial and industrial installations, including electrical vehicle (EV) chargers, both off-grid and tied to the utility, with and without battery storage.
Position Summary :
The Journeyman Electrician Operations will oversee and ensure a high level of performance from solar Commercial PV systems. The position will be the key member of the team, focused on Battery and PV projects.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities :
- State of Hawaii Journeyman's Electrician's License
- 5 years' experience in commercial electrical installation
- Installation and knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems a plus but not required
- Install new electrical systems including wiring, controls, fixtures, and equipment in commercial buildings
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on existing electrical infrastructure
- Assist with testing continuity and diagnosing issues or malfunctions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, plans, and technical diagrams
- Comply with national, state, and local electrical codes
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate electrical installations with other building systems
