As a key member of our transportation services group, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our rail clients. This includes hands-on repairs, site supervision, and customer support.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Provide technical support and maintenance services for our rail clients.
- Conduct hands-on repairs and supervise site personnel.
- Assist with customer support for transportation parts and installation orders.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop transportation project drawings and technical reports.
- Prepare required reports and administrative paperwork.
- Accompany sales personnel on occasional calls and follow-ups.
- Regular travel is required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Mechanical experience with gear reducers and drive systems is a plus.
- Prior transportation installation and repair experience is preferred.
- Frequent travel within a 4-hour radius is required.
- Ocassional overnight travel outside of the region may be required.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong communication skills.
- HS diploma or GED is required.
