Whiting Gardens Rehab Center , a premier skilled nursing facility located in Ocean County, New Jersey is seeking to hire a per diem caring, dedicated Physical Therapist to provide quality care to its residents. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients / residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records. Physical therapy services include : treatment planning & implementation, discharge planning, testing patients’ physical abilities, analyzing rehabilitation goals, and consulting with the rehab team and other health team members to coordinate the most effective treatment program.
PT Duties Include :
- Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
- Evaluate Residents conditions & develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
- Help Residents improve their mobility.
- Relieve Resident’s pain using exercises, hands-on therapy & stretching.
- Teach Residents how to use physical therapy equipment.
- Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
- Maintain Resident confidence & protects the facility by keeping information confidential.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
- Contributes to team effort.
- Submit all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis.
