INFORMATION SECURITY TECHNICIAN
FULL TIME – Towson, MD
Work Model : In-person
JOB DESCRIPTION :
Provides Incident Triage, Analysis, and Response to events reported from the Security Information Event Management (SIEM) alarms, email, IT Helpdesk, threat hunting, or other sources. Assist other team members with security related projects.
Primary Duties :
- Real-Time Alert Monitoring
- Triage, analyze, and respond to events per the Incident Response Plan
- Report and escalate Incidents
- Research emerging tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Participate in investigations
- Assist with containment, eradication (including root-cause analysis), and recovery
- Insider Threat analytics and investigations
- Actively participate during individual and team training opportunities
