High School Art Teacher - 30 hours per week

Summary of the Role We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team at Whitinsville Christian School (WCS). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging art lessons, fostering a love of art in students and guiding them in developing their artistic skills and creativity. Responsibilities •Develop and implement age appropriate art curriculum and lesson plans •Instruct students in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and other media •Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration. •Able to supervise lessons to ensure that students interact in a supportive and respectful manner •Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback •Maintain a clean and organized art classroom •Collaborate with other teachers and stuff to integrate art into the school curriculum •Participate in school events and activities related to the arts •Stay current with best practices in art education •Commitment to Christian education, integrating faith and learning in the classroom

Salary : $32,800 - $59,000
