Whitley Penn, a leading CPA and Consulting firm, is looking for a Wealth Manager to join our WPWealth team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships and serve as the primary point of client contact. Managers understand and support the firm’s vision by participating in the completion of strategic initiatives and projects. This position is designed to provide the right candidate a career path leading to the position of Senior Manager. A CFP® Certification is required.

How Will You Make an Impact?
- Manage client relationships by identifying and meeting client needs
- Provide routine coaching and training to Associate Advisors by developing knowledge, skills, and abilities to maximize performance and potential
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with numerous sources of new business, both internally and externally
- Attend and contribute to business development meetings
- Engage with the firm’s strategic planning process and contribute to key objectives
- Show initiative to develop necessary skills to move into a Senior Manager role
How Will You Get Here?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree in a related field preferred
- CFP® Certification is required; CPA license a plus
- Minimum five years professional services experience; experience in public accounting is preferred
- Demonstrate ability to build strong relationships and work with diverse personalities
- Excellent analytical ability and problem-solving skills, good judgement, and personal integrity
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office with the ability to grasp technology
- Must be highly driven, self-motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, and attentive to detail
