HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN INS AND OUTS
THE SCHEDULE:
You usually work from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
YOUR ROLE:
You're responsible for inspecting heating and air conditioning systems, diagnosing problems, and performing top-notch repairs, maintenance, and installations. Working on heat pumps, dehumidifiers, ventilation systems, air conditioning units, and more, you complete quality work while following local codes and manufacturer specifications. You install new systems, test electrical components, replace defective mechanical parts, and complete some ductwork as needed. You also give customers tips about using their system, maintaining it, and saving energy.
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid EPA Section 608 certification
- HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair experience with knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools like multimeters and pressure gauges
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical manuals
- Ability to read and write in English
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship
- Customer service experience
- Experience with specific brands or systems (e.g., Carrier, Trane, Lennox)
- Familiarity with smart thermostats and energy-efficient technologies
