Program Coordinator:
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and ensuring smooth operations around the events at the Fairgrounds. This position also coordinates the fair camping, vendor software, fair entry software and assists the Palouse Empire Fair Manager. This position aims to continue developing and promoting activities that enrich the lives of our citizens through events, programs, and training. This is a professional position which promotes and encourages professional conduct, utilizing best practices, and appropriate management standard.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or Hospitality Management is desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of programming experience.
- Must pass a background check and Washington State Patrol Abstract Driving Record check.
- Ability to obtain First Aid/ CPR/AED Certification, and Washington State food Workers Card.
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
Starting Wage: $25.86/hr
Full Salary Range: $25.86- $30.90/hr
