Whitman Hospital and Medical Clinics is seeking a skilled Part-Time Sonographer to join our team in Colfax, WA!
The Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations. This role will balance patient interaction and technological performance all while working cohesively with an organized healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular studies, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition and reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.
- Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring a comfortable environment during procedures and addressing any patient concerns.
Qualifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound technology and techniques, with the ability to work independently.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting.
- BLS certified.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily worked in a clinical environment. The position will require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds. The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting, and standing frequently. Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling. The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation. All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.

Pay Range:
$37.00 - $64.75
Compensation: New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range; actual pay offered will vary based on years of experience.

Full time employees (80 hours per pay period) can accrue 23 8-hour PTO days per year, which increases with longevity.
