We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to work onsite at our client, MDOT MTA, location. This position will be responsible for performing a range of administrative HR tasks within the Maryland Transportation Authority, including managing employee data, processing payroll, handling leave requests, supporting recruitment efforts, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing basic employee relations support, all while adhering to MDTA policies and procedures; essentially acting as the first point of contact for employee HR inquiries within the organization.
Job assignments will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Employee data management
- Onboarding and new hire processing
- Payroll processing
- Leave Administration
- Benefits Administration
- Recruitment Support
- Employee Relations
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience
- High school degree or equivalent required, Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Excel experience required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
The expected annual compensation range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
