Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP (WRA) a top 120 ENR firm is seeking qualified Construction Inspector to support Building and Facility Construction assignments in the State of Delaware.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or State Equivalency Certificate.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Applicants must have proven construction inspection experience with building and facility contracts.
- All assigned personnel must also complete OSHA 10-hour training (training paid by WRA) and assist with completion of Resume for DelDOT approval prior to assignment to contracts.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record and personal vehicle for travel to and from assigned construction sites.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must have the ability to read/interpret plans and specifications.
- Must have basic computer skills (Word & Excel) as well as experience with using computer laptops or field tablets for preparing electronic IDRs and photographic documentation. Unifier experience preferred.
- Familiarity with IBC Building Codes and IBC Special Inspections including ACI Concrete and Geotechnical Soil Compaction testing certifications, preferred
- ICC Commercial Building Inspection Certification, preferred
Must be willing to work nights and overtime, when required by the project assignment
