We are seeking a qualified Senior Construction Manager to support construction management and quality assurance inspections for NOVA/DC Government clients for major building construction projects.
Requirements:
Applicants must possess the following:
- 10 Years Senior Construction Manager/Senior Construction Project Manager on large, federal government construction projects: $50M to >$100M- New Construction
- Broad government building construction experience with multi-disciplined trades including civil, structural, MEP, security installations and coordination of IBC Special Inspections.
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations e.g., Buy American Act and Davis-Bacon Act
- Security Clearance- TS (preferred); Satisfactory Background Screening required prior to assignment
- Training in Construction QA/QC Controls for Contractor Quality Control Plans e.g., USACE CQM
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification (preferred)
- Construction Cost Estimating skills; Risk Mitigation/Claim Mitigation Training
- Proficient in CPM scheduling for reviewing, tracking and reporting on construction progress
- Minimum OSHA 10- hour training and familiarity with OSHA Guidelines
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Proven supervisory skills in managing construction management teams including other construction managers, construction inspection personnel and field office personnel
- Excellent Construction Phase eDocumentation Skills required for preparing:
- Daily Reports utilizing government construction management reporting software
- Submittal & RFI Tracking Logs
- Deficiency/ Corrective Action Reports
- Construction Schedule Status Reports
- Other Reports utilizing industry standard construction management software
- Must be a US Citizen
- Excellent Technical Writing Skills required for preparing:
- Construction Phase Progress Reports
- Schedule Status Reports
- Meeting Agendas and Minutes
