We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled engineering technicians for an exciting career path opportunity in the fields of water and wastewater facilities design. We currently have an opportunity available in our Richmond, VA location for a wide variety of education and experience levels. The primary duties will be to support engineers and senior engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of water and wastewater facilities design including pumping stations, pipelines, treatment facilities and water storage facilities.
Responsibilities will include assisting with the development of design plans, field investigations, preparation of construction plans, and cost estimates.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Engineering Design Technology or relevant discipline preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate orally/written at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the water/wastewater design industry
- Experience with drafting software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook)
