Director/Partner, Mergers & Acquisitions/Exit Strategies

About the Position
The Director/Partner of M&A and Exit Strategies plays a key leadership role in guiding clients through mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and exit strategies. This position requires expertise in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, as well as a proven track record in executing M&A transactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute M&A strategies, identifying acquisition targets and divestiture opportunities.
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
- Perform due diligence, financial modeling, and valuation analysis.
- Manage deal execution, including structuring, negotiations, and integration planning.
- Oversee client exit strategies, including IPOs, private sales, and mergers.
- Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating with legal, finance, tax, and operations professionals.
- Advise clients on all aspects of M&A and exit planning.
- Mentor and manage senior managers while fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Represent the firm at industry events and networking forums.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
- Experience: 12 years in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development at a public accounting firm.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation methods, and due diligence.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
