ABOUT THE ROLE
This role specializes in providing tax, accounting, and consulting services to high-net-worth families, focusing on tax planning and compliance for individuals, family investment partnerships, trusts, estates, gifts, and private foundations. The Partner will help clients minimize tax liabilities, manage wealth transitions across generations, and provide guidance on estate planning, taxation, and wealth preservation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Create and implement advanced tax, gift, and estate planning strategies to minimize tax implications and achieve family objectives.
- Advise on charitable giving, philanthropic efforts, and establishing family foundations or charitable trusts.
- Provide guidance on tax-efficient strategies to reduce estate, gift, and inheritance taxes.
- Stay informed on tax law updates and ensure client compliance.
- Collaborate with attorneys and financial advisors to protect assets using trusts, limited liability entities, and family partnerships.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification required.
Experience
- 10 years of experience in private client tax with a specialty in trusts and estates taxation and planning.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws related to trusts and estates.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
COMPENSATION
- Competitive salary: $250,000 to $500,000 annually, based on experience.
