About the Position:
As a Tax Partner in the Real Estate group, you will provide strategic tax guidance and solutions to clients in the real estate industry. This role involves leading tax engagements, developing client relationships, and driving the growth of the tax practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of real estate tax regulations, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality client service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert tax advice to real estate clients, including developers, investors, and property management firms.
- Interpret and analyze complex tax regulations affecting real estate.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.
- Lead and manage tax engagements, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns.
- Manage client relationships, addressing their needs and identifying new opportunities.
- Mentor and lead a team of tax professionals.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance technical expertise.
- Collaborate with other departments for integrated client solutions.
- Participate in business development, including client acquisition and retention.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA required.
Experience:
- 12 years in real estate tax, with a strong track record in tax planning and compliance.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws affecting real estate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Strong business development skills with a history of client acquisition and retention.
- High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities.
