Evening Laundry Aide

Whitney Nursing & Rehab is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Evening Laundry Aide to join our team. As a premier senior living and post-hospital rehabilitation facility in Whitney, Texas, we take pride in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for our residents and guests. Your role will be essential in upholding our high standards of hygiene and care.

Position Overview

The Evening Laundry Aide is responsible for handling all laundry operations efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation protocols. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and committed to providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press laundry for residents and facility use.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry areas.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.
• Report any maintenance concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in laundry services preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and transport laundry loads as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
