Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate residents’ health conditions, identify changes in status, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following physician orders, nursing protocols, and facility guidelines.
- Provide wound care, pain management, and chronic disease monitoring to optimize resident health outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Educate residents and families on treatment plans, disease management, and health maintenance strategies to empower informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Uphold infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and quality assurance measures to maintain a secure and therapeutic environment.
- Serve as a leader and mentor for nursing staff, providing guidance and fostering a culture of professional excellence.
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Texas.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage complex patient conditions.
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
