What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Assistant position at Whitney Veterinary Hospital?
We are looking for a veterinary assistant to join our team! We are a busy five doctor, small animal practice; our assistants work directly with our doctors and certified veterinary technicians. Some of the regular duties would include but not limited to; restraining patients, running blood work, setting up surgery, cleaning and repacking surgical instruments, assisting our CVT's with surgery preparation, equipment maintenance, helping to care for hospitalized patients, assisting with technician appointments, overseeing our kennel staff, cleaning and organizing and various other tasks.
