We are seeking a Dedicated Dispatcher to support Whitney Logistics while aligning with MAB’s centralized processes and operational efficiencies. This role is essential in optimizing dispatch operations, ensuring seamless coordination of internal and subhauler trucks, and supporting logistics operations across brands. As a key resource for Whitney Logistics, you will also collaborate across teams to enhance processes, resolve challenges, and drive operational excellence.

You are an experienced logistics professional with a strong background in dispatch operations, customer service, and process optimization. You excel in fast-paced environments, leveraging technology and collaboration to drive efficiency. Your problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and ability to build strong relationships make you a key contributor to our success.

By ensuring efficient truck dispatching, clear communication, and seamless operational support, you will help optimize performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and support company-wide growth. Your ability to balance brand-specific needs with overarching company processes will ensure consistency and excellence across all logistics operations.


Who Your Internal Customers Are and How This Role Delivers Value to Them:

  • Leadership Team: Provides operational insights to support strategic planning and growth.
  • Operations & Safety Team: Ensures seamless coordination between dispatch and field operations.
  • Sales & Account Management Teams: Collaborates on order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and technology adoption.
  • Accounting & Finance Teams: Delivers accurate dispatch data for reconciliation and reporting.

Your Impact:

Operational Efficiency & Dispatch Optimization

  • Oversee daily dispatch operations for Whitney Logistics while maintaining alignment with MAB-wide processes.
  • Ensure optimal driver assignment, resource allocation, and load efficiency to minimize downtime.
  • Quickly resolve dispatch-related challenges and technology issues to maintain seamless workflows.
  • Assist in strategic route planning and adjustments to meet customer order expectations.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as the key liaison between drivers, internal teams, and customers, ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Provide real-time updates to leadership, sales, and customer success teams on dispatch status and operational concerns.
  • Collaborate with centralized support teams to drive consistency and share best practices across brands.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owner-operators and subhaulers, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.

Technology & Process Improvement

  • Act as a subject matter expert for dispatch and safety technology, ensuring proper usage and troubleshooting issues.
  • Work with the NewMile technology team to enhance dispatch software functionality and address user concerns.
  • Identify inefficiencies in dispatch workflows and implement process improvements for increased accuracy and speed.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of dispatch data for financial reconciliation and performance tracking.

Driver Management & Support

  • Provide clear and accurate dispatch instructions to drivers, ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Address driver concerns and foster a positive working relationship to enhance retention and satisfaction.
  • Monitor job fulfillment and proactively adjust dispatch plans as needed to meet customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Prior Experience in logistics or dispatch a plus.
  • Ability to start work at 5:00 AM, Monday – Friday, and Saturdays as needed.
  • Strong proficiency in logistics platforms and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) required
