Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in developing and implementing effective menu planning strategies to meet the dietary needs of our campers.
- Supervise and coordinate food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality meals are served to our campers.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to manage food costs, inventory, and supply chain logistics.
- Train and develop subordinate Team Members to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations, including those related to food handling and storage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to food service management or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in food service management, preferably in a summer camp setting.
- ServSafe certification and knowledge of local health and food safety ordinances.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing excellent customer service to our campers.
