Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Technician located in Islandia, NY at Whitsons Culinary Group. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, utilizing analytical and laboratory skills, ensuring quality assurance, and operating laboratory equipment on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Quality Control and Quality Assurance experience for a USDA regulated facility.
- Analytical and Laboratory Skills.
- HACCP certification is required.
- Servsafe certification is a plus.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Experience with Laboratory Equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.
- Associate's degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Time flexibility is required.
- Must be flexible in challenging and complex work enviroment while firmly maintaining compliance and upholding standard.
