Central Supply Coordinator - Masconomet Healthcare

• Maintains accurate, on-going inventory of all medical supplies
• Completes supply order and obtains purchase order according to ordering schedule
• Order, track and ensure timely return of specialty and/or rental equipment
• Orders additional items as needed through purchasing software and in conjunction with corporate Materials Management representative
• Tracks and orders individual residents enteral supplies monitoring for changes in physicians orders
• Coordinate equipment management process and communicate with vendors as needed
• Receives orders, checks invoices for accuracy, notifies purchasing and Accounts Payable representative of discrepancies
• Monitors back ordered supplies to prevent shortages
• Unpacks deliveries and stocks shelves rotating stock according to expiration dates
• Monitors expiration dates of all supplies to prevent using expired stock
• Monitors and stocks nursing units daily and maintains adequate supplies at all times
• Monitors par levels on nursing units making adjustments as necessary
• Ensure ordering is within budget and maintain communication with facility Administrator regarding budget
• Coordinates with oxygen supplier at least weekly to maintain adequate oxygen supplies
• Monitors individual residents oxygen usage daily – reporting inventory and patient-specific use to Administrator at least once per month
• Comprehends and adheres to Department of Public Health and Life Safety regulations applicable to their department

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate computer skills
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• C.N.A. or experience in nursing facility preferred
• Knowledge of general medical supplies, over the counter medications, and medical terminology preferred
