Hello! We are Who’s Your Groomer? We are a small and dedicated Dog Grooming shop in San Bernardino. Our niche is quality grooms in an area where quick and cost effective grooming is the norm. We have 1 location and are owner operated so we put all of our effort and love into this location. Our goal is to grow a small, passionate and ambitious team. We hold ourselves to high standards and are looking for groomers who do the same.
What we look for in an employee
When searching for a groomer we prioritize the following above all else: timeliness, work ethic, attention to detail, and a team player.
We work all day with dogs and just as much if not more with each other. Because of this a Who's Your Groomer employee must be mindful of the team and customers time. Must work hard in order too accomplish seemingly difficult tasks. Must be attentive so things get done correctly in relation to the previously mentioned. Must work together so that all of these tasks are completed consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, trimming, and nail clipping to dogs of different breeds and sizes.
- Interact with clients to understand their grooming requirements and advise them on the best grooming options for their dogs.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, and ensure all grooming tools and equipment are well-maintained and sanitized.
- Observe and report any health concerns or abnormalities to pet owners.
- Groom in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Experience as a Dog Groomer in a professional setting.
- Love for animals and Dog Grooming.
- Enthusiasm to work with the rest of the team.
- Knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and tools.
- Knowledge of breed standard grooms.
- Scissoring skills.
- Manage time for maximum efficiency and quality.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and coworkers.
- Ability to handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments.
- High level of attention to detail
- A focus on safety for self and pets
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up heavy dogs
