We have full-time and part-time opportunity to provide occupational therapy services at our outpatient clinic in Claremont, CA. Salary:
Hourly Rate: $29 to $37 /hour, based on years of pediatric experience
Paid at same rate for cancellations/no-shows
1 hour paid plan time daily (for Full-Time)

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at our clinic, you will play a crucial role in helping children reach their full potential through therapeutic interventions and activities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
- Conducting therapeutic exercises and activities to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, visual perception, and self-care abilities.
- Providing support to children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other conditions.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and speech-language pathology assistants to ensure comprehensive care.
- Documenting patient progress, maintaining accurate records, and preparing reports for insurance purposes.
- Educating parents and caregivers on home programs and strategies to reinforce therapy goals.
- Participating in regular team meetings and continuing education opportunities.ialized programs, including feeding therapy, assistive technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) services, and social skills programs. - Licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in California

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of pediatric patients.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy or relevant fieldwork experience is preferred. New graduates are welcome to apply.
