Job Summary:
Produce Clerks stock and rotate product on the sales floor with attention to promotional displays. They ensure displays are properly arranged and signed, maintain back stock areas in good order, perform product rotation, and ensure compliance with safety and department standards. Produce Clerks also prepare products for sale including packaging, labelling, and organizing in back stock and on the sales floor.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Cull, rotate, stock, prepare and display products as directed, in accordance with operational goals and in compliance with WFC policies, the department Organic Standards Handling Plan and established practices for safety, sanitation and customer service.
Maintain product and product storage with attention to dates, organic status, proper labeling, price signs, accessibility, and safety.
Accept vendor deliveries according to established practices.
Assist customers in finding product and/or information, promptly and courteously answer and accurately route phone calls, messages, and customer requests in compliance with established practices.
As directed, move into back stock, rotate, stage, stock and/or merchandise products in accordance with shift criteria.
Achieve WFC customer service standards for internal and external customers.
Contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment to support WFC's ENDS.

Experience in retail, grocery, natural foods and/or fruit & vegetable productions, cooperative business

Ability to operate position-required machinery
Ability to safely use sharp cutting instruments
