Your Role in Our Mission
You'll be part of our Bakery team, supporting product receiving and preparation, maintaining a clean and well-stocked Bakery area, and selling products that meet our high standards.
As a key member of our team, you'll also help with breaking down deliveries, stocking shelves, and ensuring a positive company image by providing excellent customer service and working collaboratively with colleagues.
Your Key Responsibilities
Display management: maintain a fresh and appealing display by checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products
Stocking and cleaning: stock and clean shelves, bins, and display areas; monitor and prevent spoilage
Backstock management: maintain back stock in good order
Sampling program assistance: keep sample areas full, clean, and appealing
Inventory checks: assist with periodic inventory checks
Customer service: provide excellent customer service, answer phones, and model suggestive selling techniques
Maintenance: follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices; maintain equipment according to WFM cleanliness and safety standards
We're Looking for Someone Who:
Is passionate about natural foods and our mission
Has a strong understanding of and compliance with WFM quality goals
Can work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Has the ability to use tools and equipment safely, including knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
