Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Maintain accurate medical records and report any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe living space.
- Help clients with mobility issues, including lifting or transferring them as needed.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing personalized care plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a nursing home or hospice care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of meal preparation and cooking skills is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques.
- Familiarity with monitoring vital signs and maintaining medical records is an asset.
