Positions Open: Worship Leader

Whole Life Christian Church is seeking a Contemporary Worship Leader to serve, lead, and develop the worship ministry for the contemporary service.

The ideal candidate should have a strong relationship with Christ, strong vocal abilities, possess an adaptable skillset and relational leadership style. The candidate must be a team player and confident leader who develops and encourages volunteers. The candidate must be creative in worship and is a contributor to the overall ministry. They must also have a sound theological framework for worship and ability to flow in prophetic worship.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Continue to grow and mature in your relationship with Christ as a godly person of integrity
• Connect with and embody the vision and mission of the church with the ability to encourage this with new team members
• Lead, plan, and coordinate weekly worship selecting songs that promote an encounter with God
• Collaborate with worship team and musicians to plan and execute the Sunday worship experience
• Demonstrate leadership in being able to disciple those in his/her sphere of influence
• Model and lead heartfelt worship in an invitational style, drawing people in, encouraging participation, and pointing people to Jesus
• Contribute innovative ideas and invest in the growth of the worship ministry
• Demonstrate conflict resolution skills
• Enlisting and developing volunteers
• Send weekly song selections to media team

Schedule: Sundays 9:45am to 12:00pm and up to 2 hours prep time during the week for Sunday Service. Hours will increase as the music ministry and responsibility grows.
