Reporting directly to the WPCC Board of Directors, the Executive Director (ED) has overall responsibility for the operation and ongoing development of Whole Person Care Clinic. The Executive Director directs the organization by approval and implementation of policies, procedures, standards and actions that support the strategic plan.
This role requires an Executive Director who can navigate the complexities of healthcare delivery, nonprofit management, and public policy while driving innovation and organizational growth. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader capable of positioning the organization at the forefront of community health transformation.
The ED is a decision maker that must be able to engender commitment and skillfully build a team. S / he must be an innovator and risk taker focused on continuous improvement to ensure the quality services provided.
As the leader of the organization, S / he assumes an active leadership role with staff, with the Board, with the community, and with other stakeholders. With a constant focus on whole person care, quality, innovation, staff and client safety, the ED creates and maintains standards and systems for operational delivery. These systems promote efficient and effective care and are designed to support the management and planning for the use of available resources.
Developing a strong, collaborative Board of Directors that oversees the activities and affairs of WPCC is a priority. The ideal scenario is the Executive Director working under the direction of the Board with the Board providing expertise and support to empower the ED to supervise, direct, and control the WPCCs day to day activities, business, and affairs. Collaborating with the Board to refine governance structures and including members who have expertise in key areas. Consider appointing individuals with lived experience on the board who serve as the voice of those WPCC serves.
Collaborate with the Board in developing a mission and vision that reflects the purpose of WPCC and is reviewed on an annual basis to ensure the continued support of the organizations growth and complexity with a constant focus on serving our clients.
Provide the Board with sophisticated analysis and strategic options for organizational development and impact scaling.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications and experience for this position include :
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in complex healthcare organizations or large nonprofits.
Demonstrated success in scaling organizations and managing annual budgets exceeding $15 million.
Strong track record of influencing public policy and building cross-sector partnerships.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
Demonstrated progressive leadership and expertise in communication across disciplines, participative change management, managing group dynamics and managing performance improvement processes.
Knowledge of organizational behavior; management systems and processes; regulations and ethics; healthcare economics; health and public safety; trends in business practice; homelessness health care issues; healthcare outcome measures; and fiscal management and finance.
Mobility to travel throughout the organization and community.
Ability to work varying hours and handle difficult situations when necessary.
Ability to effectively work in a multi-location.
