Medical Coordinator Assistant, Recuperative Care

JOB SUMMARY

The Recuperative Care Medical Coordinator Assistant ensures efficient medical care facilitation for recuperative care clients in a hotel setting, coordinating follow-up care and maintaining high-quality documentation while also assisting clients with self-administration of medication, daytime activities, and overall well-being.

*THIS JOB OPENING IS FOR SWING/NOC SHIFT*

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct initial client assessments and daily well-being checks.
• Link clients to medical services and coordinate care.
• Educate clients on health matters and assist with facility maintenance.
• Manage administrative tasks and comply with HIPAA guidelines.
• Prioritize health and safety, with strong multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and professional boundary setting.
• Knowledgeable in medical terminology and documentation practices.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficient in care coordination and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to work independently and work overnight shifts
• CMA, RMA, OR EMT certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification REQUIRED within 2 weeks of start date
