Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our psychodynamic psychotherapy focused group private practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in an outpatient setting either as an intern or an LCSW and possess knowledge, training and experience in various psychotherapeutic therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Perform assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress notes and medical records in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Engage in weekly clinical supervision for support and coordination of care
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid state license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Proficiency in DSM-5 and ICD-9 coding and documentation standards
- Experience working in a clinical environment preferred
- Strong understanding of psychotherapeutic methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a focused, collaborative, rigorous clinical environment
